Things you should know about Villa 1 Lower

Please read the following important information.  It is proved to assist you in having a safe and relaxing vacation at Sunset Paradise Villas.

If the upstairs unit is rented, PLEASE respect their privacy and restrain from going upstairs. You can usually enjoy a nice breeze from your patio.  It is great for watching the Ocean and stars watching at night.  Please be extra careful when using the spiral stairs to the top, some of the steps are not the same size and you could trip if you are not careful.  Again, tiles can be slippery when wet.  When you go to the very top, PLEASE STAY ON THE FLAT SECTION ONLY!  The light switch for the upstairs Sun Deck is located at the bottom of the spiral stairs.  Make sure you turn off the lights when you come back down.

Internet – In addition to all the networks we have available, our good neighbors from the home next door has expressed that we could share with our guests his internet in case our goes down.   The password to get on his internet is cccccccccc (Small c 10 times).

Stereo – TV – DVD – The Stereo plays DVDs, CDs and has an FM tuner.  Please do not re-wire our electronic equipment.  If you are having problems or something is working right, please contact us.

Rooftop Swimming Pool – To find our rooftop swimming pool, please go down a few homes to Villa 2 and Villa 3.  Use the stairs located between the two homes to access the roof where you will find the pool.

Washer/Dryer – We also provide a washer and dryer for your use.  They are located in the common area under the stairs of Villa 2.  Please use the dryer ONLY in cloudy or rainy days.  Clothes dryers are somewhat rare, this is because the sun and wind dry things very rapidly.  For your convenience, we have installed a clothesline reel that s mounted right outside the north side on the Oceanfront balcony. We have also installed hooks at different locations and inside showers.  They are perfect for hanging up a wet swimsuits or wet towels.  There should be an iron and ironing board in one of the Villas’ bedroom.

Hot Water Switch Location – The hot water switch is located in the corner of the patio, outside kitchen door to the right, facing the Ocean.

To Play Your Music Device – You will need an USB-to MP3/Music device cable to hook your device up to ours.

Things you should know about Villa 1 Upper

Please read the following important information. It is provided to assist you in having a safe and relaxing vacation.

Enjoy…  Go up to the top sundeck! You can usually find a nice breeze. It is great at night for viewing the stars. The light switch for the upstairs is locsted at the bottom of the stairs. Make sure you turn off the lights when you come back down. Be extra careful when using the spiral stairs to the top, some of the steps are not the same size and you could trip if you are not careful. Things you should know about Villa 2 Lower

Please read the following important information. It is proved to assist you in having a safe and relaxing vacation.

Enjoy – right outside on the South side between villa 2 and villa 3 is additional common area.

Rooftop Swimming Pool – Go up the stairs on the South side to the rooftop pool area.

Lights – We have a security light on the rear of the Villa and we have our house numbers on the front of our house. They will come on automatically at night and turn off during the day.

Washer and Dryer – We also provide a washer and dryer for your use. They are located at the common area under the stairs of Villa 2. Since the washer and dryer are shared, please remove your clothes as soon as they are finished, so others may use the machine. There should be an iron and ironing board in a bedroom.

Things you should know about Villa 2 Upper

Please read the following important information. It is proved to assist you in having a safe and relaxing vacation. Enjoy – We have found the best way to experience the “feel of the tropics” is to double flip the large, ocean front, French doors. You did rent a beach house to enjoy the sun, the sand, and ocean breezes. There are levers on the sides of the doors. They flip down and allow all 4 doors to fold open. You can also open the double wooden doors in each bedroom. This allows you to get a great cross breeze that flows throughout the unit. By doing this, you create the “indoor / outdoor” living that is popular in the tropics. For those days of no breezes and extreme heat, we provide air conditioning, but please help us keep costs down by running the air conditioners only when needed. To run the central air conditioner in the main living area, turn the power on (either by remote control or press “power” button on the unit) and then set the temperature to around 25 c (more or less depending on how cool you want it), then set the fan switch to automatic. If cool air is not coming out of the unit, make sure you have the “mode” set to “cool”, not “fan”. Again, the room cools quickly so please turn the unit off if you are gone for the day.

Things you should know about Villa 3 Upper

Please read the following important information. It is proved to assist you in having a safe and relaxing vacation.

Refrigerator/Ice Maker – The ice maker may have a hard time keeping up with demand if you are making a lot of drinks or using a lot of ice. Also, we have found the ice sensor will not allow more ice to be made if you leave an ice scoop in the ice tray. Remove any melted ice that may be on the bottom. It will “sense” this melted ice and not make ice. When you find the ice tray full, you may want to transfer this ice so the ice maker will sense the bin/tray low and make additional ice. The freezer should be set to -4 degrees. Make sure the freezer door all the way closed.

Washer and Dryer – We also provide a washer and dryer for your use. They are located in the common area under the stairs of Villa 2. Since the washer and dryer are shared, please remove your clothes as soon as they are finished, so others may use the machine. There should be an iron and ironing board in a bedroom.

Stereo/TV/DVD – The stereo plays DVD’s, and CD’s. It has sound surround speakers for full theater effect when watching a DVD movie. It also has a volume control by the rear to control the volume for the rear patio speakers. Please DO NOT re-wire our electronic equipment! Enjoy – Our newest villa, completely rebuilt in 2014! Along with only the best amenities, Villa 4 boasts an Oceanfront outdoor patio with dining area and an outdoor shower.

Washer and Dryer – We also provide a washer and dryer for your use. They are located in the common area under the stairs of Villa 2. We provide a washer and dryer for extended stays only. Contact our cleaning manager for access.

Hurricane Shutters – The switches for the hurricane shutters can be found on the right-hand side of the wall facing the ocean. Please do not pull on the shutters or allow children to hang from them. If you need assistance with operating the shutters, please contact our maintenance manager.
